Pradeep Mannakkara
Pradeep Mannakkara is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Cvent. He brings more than 20 years of experience in transforming global technology companies. Pradeep is responsible for driving the company’s advancement and strategic direction of Cloud Operations, Information Security, Business Applications, IT Project Management Office, and Enterprise Services.
Mannakkara has been instrumental in establishing Cvent as a trusted partner to their tens of thousands of customers due to their strict adherence to data security and data privacy regulations. In 2017, he led Cvent’s Privacy Shield certification campaign. Due to his efforts, Cvent was the first full-platform business meetings, events and hospitality company to have its Privacy Shield certifications approved by the United States Department of Commerce after third-party verification.
Prior to joining Cvent, Pradeep was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Ellucian Inc., a leading provider of software and services for higher education institutions. He has held executive positions at Visa, Time Warner/AOL, CNET Networks, and Rosetta Stone. Pradeep has accelerated the move towards cloud technologies and has led many global transformations in his tenure working with public companies and private equity.
Pradeep earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of North Texas in Business Computer Information Systems and Accounting. He lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and 2 children.
